Private Coaching w/Candice Appleby:

Are you ready to take your paddling or surfing skills to the next level? Private coaching is a great way to improve your technique and learn valuable subtitles of paddling and surfing as you work towards your goals. Each coaching package is tailored to your specific needs.
Coach Candice has developed dozens of paddling drills to improve the skills you may already have while adding new tools to your toolbox. Be it stroke technique, footwork, turning, race strategy, goal setting, equipment management, open ocean paddling, race starts & finishes, Candice has mastered it all. She is ready to share her World Champion expertise with you. If you’re looking to improve your surfing skills and wave reading ability, Coach Candice has you covered.

New Clients may start with either a single lesson or Jump Start Package. Surf Coaching Packages max at Goal Setter Package. If you are looking for a single lesson, it is $250 and can be selected from any of the below book now buttons.
Equipment is not included in private coaching packages. Rental equipment is available upon request at $25 per session, excluding canoes.

Private Coaching w/Grace Hardy: OC-1

New Clients may start with either a single lesson or Jump Start Package. Grace conducts private sessions out of Oceanside Harbor, as well as Dana Point Harbor. However, there is an additional $40 travel fee (per/session) for sessions out at the Dana Point location.

Clinics are a great way to improve your standup paddle skills and meet other paddlers who want to do the same. Candice Appleby has been teaching clinics for over ten years all over the world. Corporate Paddling Experiences
Looking for a great team-building experience for your business associates or a company party to be remembered for years to come? Or perhaps golf isn’t your game, and you would rather get on the water for a “board meeting” to get to know your colleagues and associates.
Corporate paddle experiences with Ocean Academy are a great way to break the ice, bond, and celebrate in a safe, encouraging, and professional environment. World Champion paddler and coach Candice Appleby will lead her team of paddling instructors to ensure you and your associates have a great day on the water.
Corporate paddle experiences include an Ocean Academy concierge package (Snacks, Drinks, Ocean Academy Branded Apparel, and more), an increased paddler to instructor ratio for maximum safety, and a shaded beach set-up for added comfort of your paddle experience.
Cost: $250 per/person

Large groups must book a minimum of 30 days in advance to insure availability.

Personalized training programs are a great way to add structure, accountability, and guidance to your standup paddle racing and fitness goals. Our Personalized Training plans are just that. Personalized just for you!
We create monthly programs inclusive of on and off water workouts based on your goals, schedule, and cross-training activity preferences. Let us help you prepare for your next big race, or just simply get in your best shape ever.

Technique Analysis via Video Submission
Improve your paddling technique through video analysis. Upon submission, Coach Candice will analyze your video and provide in-depth feedback and various drills to improve your paddling technique. Technical coaching via video submission allows you to access Candice Appleby’s coaching techniques from anywhere.
Price $250.
Submit your video now! Send your thirty second to one minute video to [email protected] via Wetransfer, DropBox, or Google Drive. You will receive a payment prompt within 24 hours. Once your payment is complete, Coach Candice will review your video and reply within 1-week with in-depth analysis and prescribed drills.
